Life is a series of choices and decisions to be made, one after the other. There are the simple and mundane, and there are the complex and crucial. It is in the latter that people often turn to heaven, yearning to know "the will of God" in order to not make wrong and painful choices.
However, Romans 12:1-2 tells us that a person needs a genuine transformation from within in order to discern the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. The original text renders it as metamorphosis, the process which biology defines as abrupt growth and change in the structure of an animal. Spiritually we call it being transformed into the image of Jesus. It is only then that you can discern His will in your life.
Therefore, seek the transformation, and He will reveal His will. Do not do things backwards; it is never His way.
